Pipe Live
Encode once with ffmpeg and we copy the stream to the cities you pick, serving viewers from a POP near them.
One encode, every city you pick
Your channel, your key
Every frame is signed with your channel key, so a machine you do not control cannot inject into your stream. Publishing rights stay with the key, not with whoever finds the URL.
One encode, many cities
Point one ffmpeg job at the ingest URL your dashboard gives you, then add cities — US West, EU Central — and we fan the stream out to them. You are not running an encoder per region.
A box in your city
If you already have machines in a city, you can host a live-only POP there so nearby viewers are served locally. It carries your channel and never joins the shred feed.
Metered on delivered bytes
Pipe Live
Encode once and we copy the stream to the cities you pick, billing only the bytes we actually deliver. Rates depend on your cities and volume, so we agree them with you rather than list one here — write to us and we will quote.
Questions
A live video channel on the Pipe fleet: encode with ffmpeg, add the cities you want it in, and viewers there play from a POP near them. It is its own product on its own fabric — separate from the shred feed, website CDN, and object storage.
